This beautiful custom designed open shelf sideboard is the debut of my wood carving and the first piece that we’ve built with our official HMH Design brand on the back. This french country buffet is completely hand made with reclaimed wood and meticulously hand-carved (NO CNC machine) by me over a 2 month period of time. I hand sketched two of the designs in the carving to come up with a truly unique, one-of-a-kind design… no other piece has ever or will ever be identical as each carving is its own work of art. It was given a hand-painted finish in gray, white, and brown tones. She is a massive piece at 9 feet in width and is now in her unbelievable French country forever home (pictures coming soon!)… seriously, this house belongs in a magazine. This sideboard strikes the perfect juxtaposition of old-world elegance and relaxed casual charm that families today seek. It has multi-purposed uses meaning it is extremely versatile and could be used as a sideboard, buffet, credenza, bathroom vanity, casual china hutch, or virtual learning station and storage.
